Description

Joey WATER™- featuring our minimalist Joey design- is made from two layers of our UPF 50 Chito-Sante Recycled Poly SWIM fabric intended to stand up to salt and chlorinated water & help keep baby's skin protected, blocking up to 98% UVA/UVB Rays. 

Its super luxe fabric is soft enough for the most delicate of skin, rolls the most compact, and has the FIRMEST FIT of all the Joeys for optimum water safety. It can make a great everyday spring/ summer option for those that prefer a firm carry & for heavier toddlers as well OR may be used to assist cozy, relaxing winter showers for connection, steam therapy & bathing. 

'Chitosan', (biomass from crab or shrimp shells) is combined with textile fibres to create a fabric that is anti-bacterial, odor resisting, moisture wicking, breathable, fast drying, anti-static, & pill resistant making it a great option for summer use, both wet or dry -and a perfect option for "hot natured" mamas & babies. Chito-Sante is the only treatment of its kind to be certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). 

Joey WATER™ is intended to ONLY to lend you an assisting hand with your little one and increase safety during water activities such as shallow water play, splash pads, showering, etc. , & to add an element of security for activities you would already feel confident doing with baby, WITHOUT a Joey. Sizing

Joeys are sized like a garment to the ADULT wearer for SAFETY & COMFORT and can be used interchangably from newborns- big kids to support your natural carrying and comforting positions when properly fitted! Woo Hoo!

SNUG is BEST for safety & comfort. You can find your perfect Joey size with ONE simple measurement!

We recommend sizing up if you are between measurements, UNLESS you have a heavier kiddo!

Wash

Easy peasy.

Machine Washable.

Gentle cycle, like colors. 

Lay flat, hang dry, or tumble dry low.

Weight Limit

Joey is considered an assistant carrier/ garment by CPSC, and is there to support your natural carrying & comforting positions for as long as both you and your kiddo are feeling comfy & secure (Woo Hoo!)

Generally around 35-40lbs for most.

All though there may be many times users feel quite confident and secure enough to remove their hands briefly, Joey is not a "hands free device" and we recommend always staying fully aware and in control.

The ONE & ONLY True Joey

There are NO approved Joey Vendors. There are many imitators selling very poorly made "versions", frequently with stolen images, false claims & unsafe recommendations placing babies at risk.

If you have been deceived by one of these companies, we are so sorry. We highly recommend discontinuing use immediately & contacting our team with a copy of your receipt for a small gift of store credit to go towards the purchase of a real, TRUE JOEY.

Joey ships WORLDWIDE! (*a few select areas may not be covered)  We are so excited about how our Joey Mob is growing around the globe, and want to make sure that you are informed on every aspect of ordering, delivery, and support. 

Due to the custom nature of our product, we require a photo of you for sizing reference at time of order to be eligible for a warranty replacement or refund. Ideally, this would be a photo of you taking your measurement. This helps ensure we get you the perfect fit on the first try! Here's how to find your Joey measurement. 

We collect the import duty and tax at checkout to make it easy and convenient for you! However, please note, if for any reason duty and tax is not collected at checkout those fees will be due upon delivery. Not the best for an older baby

"I have a heavy 14 month old and I'd say this is not the handiest with her size. I find it slouches down a lot so I'm constantly re adjusting it and she's so wriggly that it just doesn't feel like I can live life with her in the carrier in the same way that I'm able to with all my other carriers. In my experience a more supported carrier is better for a larger and more wriggly baby as mine just chills out in the more supportive carriers. This style of carrier mimics being held in the arms a bit more, which anyone with a toddler knows that they want to come up and down over and over! It's not easy to get a larger baby in to this carrier either because it is so tight, so the coming up and down over and over is a hassle. Overall I would recommend this carrier for a smaller baby, I think it would have been awesome from 3-9months (I would really recommend it for that age!). But with the price so high, I'm quite sad to have spent so much on a carrier that I realistically won't use."

The highlight of my vacation

"I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Joey water! I took my three month old on vacation and the joey water was our saving grace. I wore him pretty much all day and he was so happy. Carrying him in the joey water allowed me to splash in the kiddie pool with my two year old while my baby snoozed comfortably all wrapped up on me. It even helped keep him cool in the hot Dominican sun! It was perfect and honestly, I could not have imagined doing that trip without it."
