Be the GuRoo.
Joey is considered an Assistant Carrier/ Garment by CPSC and is there to Support all your Natural Carrying & Comforting Postions from birth through toddlerhood, & beyond! Groovy huh!?
Although there may be times where Joey™ users feel incredibly confident removing their hands temporarily, we recommend always staying in full control, being mindful of baby's positioning, vigilant of breathing, and keeping one hand (or the inside of your arm) on baby.
Note on "Cradle" position: Cradling is considered a temporary or "active care" position. Meaning, you are actively caring for, feeding, or tending to baby. You should be able to see baby's face, chin should remain off the chest, and fabric free from the face. Baby should be tipped toward the "open shoulder" for nursing.
Baby's should never be allowed to "slump" in the Joey, and should be returned to upright as soon as complete.
See additional safety info for more details, and know that you always have access to GuRoo support to help you feel confident & ensure your little one is safe.
